Iman Floyd-Carroll

WELCOME:

A little about me…

Iman Floyd-Carroll is currently an undergraduate sophomore at Stanford University studying Science, Technology and Society and concentrating in communication and media studies. Born in the Bay and raised in Philadelphia, Iman has utilized her understanding of these differing coastal attitudes to successfully embody the leadership characteristics associated with both.

Iman currently serves as the Co-Editor-in-Chief and Modeling Director of MINT Magazine, Stanford’s sole fashion & culture print publication. Within her two quarters at MINT, Iman has successfully aided in piloting MINT’s relaunch – pushing MINT’s readership to almost 20,000 worldwide.

In her free time, Iman is a fashion photographer and digital artist, a writer, a regular speaker on the topic of mental health and lifestyle to adolescents in treatment, and always searching for her next taco.

Iman is deeply interested in merging the mediums of personal narrative and art in building community empathy and self-awareness. In the future, Iman would like to work at the intersection of art and business administration.

Enjoy!
